You have to imagine IQ as a big spectrum of intelligence. The number 100 acts as the middle of the spectrum because that’s supposed to be the average IQ. People that have an IQ below 80 are considered mentally and educationally subnormal, but can still participate in the society. When we take a look at the other side of the spectrum, there are also different gradations. People that have an IQ score of 130 are considered highly gifted and thus they are very intelligent.

Luckily, there are some ways you can improve your IQ score, but that has to be taken with a grain of salt. While a little flexible, your IQ can’t change that much and you must not expect any wonders. You can increase your IQ score by challenging yourself cognitively on a daily basis. For example, you could try your hand at brain games and exercise is also supposed to help a lot! Thus, there are many possibilities to better your IQ score!

Lastly, it’s important that you keep in mind that your IQ score isn’t able to give any guarantees. Just because you have a rather low IQ score, that doesn’t mean you won’t be able to achieve great success in your life. Vice versa, having a high IQ score doesn’t automatically guarantee that will. Namely, there are also other factors involved, factors such as your environment and your education for example. Of course, you also need a bit of luck in your life!
