Sudden eye pain and headaches around the eye are the first signs of glaucoma. Headaches that are caused because of glaucoma generally occur in the eye, around the eye, and also on the forehead. This type of headache is a major warning sign for glaucoma and also needs to be taken seriously.
Redness of the Eye
Eyes get red from time to time if there is a lot of heat in the body, in fever, other diseases, and lifestyle habits or when something goes into the eye that causes distress like dust or pepper. But a serious and continuous redness in the eyes is an early sign of glaucoma. Acute angle-closure glaucoma results in a lot of redness in the eye.
